ANODIZED
ALUMINUM
Anodizing is an electrochemical process that modifies the surface of aluminum to form a high-hardness, transparent oxide film. This process can be combined with electrolytic coloring to create UV-resistant color layers or organic finishes with durability comparable to paint.
The surface of curtain wall aluminum veneer typically undergoes six alkaline washes and two silane washes before being treated with fluorocarbon spraying.
Fluorocarbon coatings consist of primers, topcoats, and varnishes, with polyvinylidene fluoride resin (KYNAR500) as the main component. These coatings offer excellent corrosion resistance and weather durability, effectively withstanding acid rain, salt spray, and various air pollutants.
